An experience of a lifetime...

Jason and I are having a blast in Vegas, and this is just one of the highlights of our trip so far. What you don't know is that right before this was taken, I felt a furry little (big) paw grab me on my hiney! Who knew the Coca-Cola polar bear was so friendly! He gave me a big Las Vegas hello, in true Las Vegas hospitality tradition.
We're really getting along well...as well as two country bumpkins in a big ole city can possibly get along. We're adjusting to this fast-paced society where everybody's in a big hurry and you don't -- under any circumstances -- stop in the flow of traffic (or in a crosswalk) for fear of being trampled or run over by mad cab drivers. (Why are those cabbies so angry?!)
The absolute worst part of our trip so far is that Hannah's bronchitis last week has turned into pneumonia this week. We're so blessed to have her in such good care with Mimi and Pop. Mimi says she's doing much better today, and we're very grateful for that. Carter seems to be doing great...I just talked to Mimi who said he was happily playing in the toilet. That's our boy!!
